Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Update 4 Now Available, Here Are The Full Patch Notes

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, the critically acclaimed collection of the original three Tomb Raider games, has received a new update. Version 1.04 for the Switch, PS4 and Xbox One introduces various changes and fixes across all three games.

Here’s a full breakdown of all the fixes in Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Update 4:

Tomb Raider I:

The main focus of this update seems to be fixing an issue where the player could use a special item in the game, “Infinite Ammo,” to create unlimited ammunition for guns. This is the biggest fix, but there are many smaller tweaks.

Fixes:

• Fixed the problem with Infinite Ammo

• The player should no longer be able to become stuck at a doorway while entering the Sanctuary in the Lost City of the Inca levels.

• The developers have resolved a specific issue with an Enemy Character, the “Boss Man,” appearing in the wrong area in the Lost City of the Inca levels.

• Previously, Lara’s character could find herself getting stuck when approaching the back entrance to the Secret Area. This issue is now fixed, allowing smooth gameplay in this section.

• Players should no longer experience problems where an area might not appear after exiting the underground, due to the camera focusing on an incorrect spot.

• Fixed a glitch where Lara Croft’s “Run” button would trigger incorrectly after performing the “jump” command on a ledge in the Tomb of the King levels.

• Addressed a glitch in Tomb of the King that saw Lara falling off the ledge despite being at the correct position.

• Removed the unexpected enemy movement glitch in Tomb of the King by ensuring a consistent position in the main room’s centre section.

General Improvements:

• Fixed some bugs and general performance issues with these levels:

  • Lost City of the Inca: Caves of the Lost City.
  • Tomb of the King: The Sanctuary

Tomb Raider II:

The focus of Tomb Raider II update is to prevent certain issues from disrupting the player’s progress, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Fixes:

• Lara can no longer find herself getting stuck on certain pillars located within the Venetian level.

• Developers have rectified the situation where Lara would accidentally fall down an unexpected hole within the Venice area.

General Improvements:

• General gameplay performance optimizations across various levels within Tomb Raider II.

• Further fixes across other areas to improve the general quality of the game.

Tomb Raider III:

While this update doesn’t specifically address the infamous “infinite ammo” bug, it still brings several fixes for a better player experience in Tomb Raider III.

Fixes:

• Addressed an issue with enemies where they failed to correctly target Lara Croft.

• Developers have successfully fixed the bug where Lara Croft could become stuck between two different areas.

General Improvements:

• Optimization of levels for general stability, performance, and graphics quality across all platforms.

As with every major release, this update may be rolled out across various platforms in stages. Be patient, as these are usually only minor delay periods.
