Apple shares season two trailer for sci-fi series Silo

Apple has released the trailer for season two of its acclaimed sci-fi series “Silo,” confirming its return for a second season on Apple TV+.

The show is based on Hugh Howey’s bestselling book series, “Wool,” and stars Rebecca Ferguson as Juliette, a sheriff who investigates the mysterious death of a former sheriff in a society living underground within a giant silo to escape a dangerous and toxic world.

“The story is not about escaping into an underground world,” says the show’s creator Graham Yost in the trailer. “It’s about going back to a world that was lost, and how to bring it back.”

Season two continues the journey of the Silo’s residents, who face their own inner demons and outside threats while struggling to adapt to the changing landscape both within and outside their world. The trailer hints at exciting new challenges, new characters, and even the introduction of a mysterious child.

With a cast that includes Rashida Jones, David Oyelowo, Common, and Iain Glen, season two of “Silo” is poised to bring fans even more captivating sci-fi adventure and intrigue.

“Silo” Season 2 will debut on Apple TV+ on Friday, May 12.
